I actually have the first 2 books in the series on my kindle in my TBR folder, but hadn¿t read them yet. I absolutely loved Can¿t Help Falling in Love! Both Gabe and Megan are such strong characters, yet they have each had a bad experience with relationships in the past. Megan lost her husband to a horrible accident and Gabe had a relationship turn sour with a woman he had rescued in a fire. Gabe swears never to date another fire victim and Megan swears never to get involved with someone in a dangerous job again.
After Gabe saves Megan and her daughter Summer from their burning apartment building, Megan and Summer come to the hospital to thank him. Both Megan and Gabe are attracted to each other from the moment they meet in the hospital, yet the promises they made to themselves are always in the front of each of their minds. Of course, both promises go out the window because of the explosive attraction between them. Megan¿s daughter Summer makes it her goal to get her mom and Gabe together at every possible moment. Each time Megan and Gabe are alone together, neither can seem to keep their hands off of the other. They are so hot together, I really thought my Nook might start sizzling as I was reading. Gabe and Megan have some of the sexiest scenes together and yet there is still a sweetness to them as well, as I could see both falling for one another.
Gabe is able to move past his past experience much faster than Megan. He figures out very quickly he is in love with her and is willing to take things slow to have Megan and Summer in his life. Megan is such a strong woman, but had been burned so badly in the past, she had such fear of a real relationship with Gabe. Megan knows in her heart she loves Gabe, yet must get her head to see clearly before she too can admit her feelings.
I usually don¿t read books in a series out of order, but felt like Can¿t Help Falling in Love stood alone well. I really loved spending time with the Sullivan family and can¿t wait to read the rest of the family¿s stories. I plan on going back and reading the first two books in the series as soon as possible, and really can¿t wait for Sophie¿s story to be released in February 2012.

Nice characters, good story line. The only odd thing was a 7 yr old who bakes homemade muffins and fudge. That was a little unrealistic. Otherwise another great one be Bella Andre.

He's immediately drawn to Megan's strength and determination. After he's injured during their rescue, Megan and Summer visit him at the hospital to see how he is and to thank him for saving their lives. Despite their mutual attraction, both Gabe and Megan have rules that should keep them apart. Gabe never dates fire victims. Megan refuses to date risk-takers. But as luck would have it, they are thrown back together with a little help from Gabe's insightful sister and Megan's matchmaking daughter. I'm not always a fan of children in romance novels, but Summer was such a delight! I smiled with each antic she pulled. Also, I love how she was never treated like a secondary character. Summer is very much a part of the story, and it was wonderful seeing Gabe interact with her.
Gabe and Megan's relationship progresses in such a natural way that it felt real to me. Megan's fears after losing her husband broke my heart. Gabe overcame his emotional conflict a lot faster than she did. He didn't push her, though. He was patient and loving in his pursuit...and boy does he pursue!
Can't Help Falling in Love is the perfect example of why I love romance novels. In fact, I can say that about this entire series! The exciting meet, one or both of them resisting the spark of attraction, the first explosive kiss leading to rock-my-world sex, overcoming conflict while falling in love, and living happily ever after. It's rare that I find a book that does it ALL just as I want.
The next Sullivan to find happiness will be Sophie in I Only Have Eyes For You. The setup for she and Jake in Can't Help Falling in Love has me anxiously anticipating their story! If Jake is anything like the Sullivan men, I may need a defibrillator. A girl's heart can only take so much!

I am not an avid reader of Bella Andre novels. This is the first of the Sullivan Brothers books that I have read and I was pleasantly surprised. I appreciated the realistic firefighting scenes that were placed in the book. The opening chapter grabbed, and held my attention. I felt that the emotional conflicts that Gabe and Meghan had were realistic and added to the genuine feel of the book. I would recommend it and I may even have to backtrack and read the first two in the series. (I had just one problem with the book: Who let's a seven year old use an oven by herself; especially someone who's been through a fire?)

U here?

I only regret I can't get book 4. Hurry up and release it.
I was already familiar with the cast of Sullivan characters. But Megan and Summer were new. I personally love kids. Summer no exception.
The character portraits were beautifully painted, the plot was sufficient. I realize without a few stumbling blocks the book would be a lot shorter. I also have to admit that this story brought on a few tears--not a usual thing with me.While most heroes and heroines are beyond perfect, at least Megan and Gabe were believably human
As long as you are not jaded and have a little romance left in your soul, I can recommend it. I can recommend any book by Bela Andre. After reading a half dozen of her books I can not wait to read more. I started with The Look of Love--pick up a copy and have at it. You won't regret it.
