    real eye opener

Wow! the format of this story places the reader right into the story. you can actually visualize the houses, restaurants, plane, and everything the characters do. Would make for a good movie. It shows we, USA , have to do a lot better when it comes to regulating and inspecting our imports.

    Awesome Novel!!

This novel builds to a tragic, yet very exciting climax. It only goes to show how people who know too much detail can become a threat to adversaries and how too much integrity can sadly doom somebody. The author brilliantly protrays how intelligent individuals could be used as pawns for terrorist schemes without even themselves or a powerful government knowing it. If you have any BASIC knowledge (high school physics at best) of nuclear energy, you will certainly appreciate this novel. FIVE STARS!!!

    Candi

Any half-inch thick gold statue could be used to conceal a nuclear weapon capable of destroying the vital center of any city in America, including Wall Street. That is an impressive message for a book that includes squirrels, a sensuous belly dancer, and international arms and commodity dealers. What is more is that the author painstakingly evaluates all the detection options in order to provide our Customs officers with a surveillance strategy for detecting concealed nuclear weapons. Bravo!

    Candi

Before reading Candi, I had never heard of material science. After reading Candi, I felt that material science was the most exciting new field of exploration. The detailed analysis provided by the author as the characters in the novel attempted to uncover the ultimate uses of the materials in question is amazing. I wanted to enroll in a material science course at the university. Documentaries on the causes for the sinking of the Titanic have never mentioned anything like the information contained in this novel. The mechanisms of material failure are presented so clearly as to be accessible to junior high school students. Candi provides an excellent adventure into nuclear and material science.

This story starts out slow, but then becomes a real page turner! It kept me on the edge of my seat till the shocking ending! And I mean shocking! Sent chills up my spine knowing this could really happen. Terrorists could do this effortlessly and no one would be the wiser. Fantastic ending!

    Candi

After reading this novel, I went out and purchased Chris Spheeris' CD containing the sensuous music of 'Enchantment.' Now all I need is a platinum-haired, bellydancer to acheive tantric enlightment. This novel will warm up any cold night in Chicago!

    Technical Genius

Review: As with all mysteries, once the central idea is revealed it is simple and elegant. Candi is pure genius in technical concept woven into a tale of very timely present day life experiences. Candi shows the diverse elements that quickly converge to the single moment of insight and the rush of sudden life determining events in time. Dr. Edward F. Excellent suspense!

Page after page the suspense intensifies! Complex terrorist plots entangle while unsuspected innocents get snagged in a web of sinister and scientific intrigue. This was excellent reading! Justice Hawk quaintly captures the daily sweet romantic moments between the main characters while covering a most timely yet surreal subject.

    Candi

Once I began this book I literally could not put it down! It had the right amount of mystery, intrigue and romance. Being a Chicago Police Officer for years, I really could relate to the latter part of the book when the investigation gets started. I also enjoyed the characters Goa and Colin. I know the bellydancer haha! This is a book you don't want to miss reading! When's the movie coming out!

Not only shocking, about what is in the news these days: Terrorism! I also found it very entertaining and stimulating! The Author also captures the true essence of bellydance--not only the sensual with a secret promise of desire, but also an outlet for spiritual expression. Bellydancing is an ancient dance of a religious mystique. The movement of the abdomen and hips signify the fertility of life. The bare feet are in connection with the earth. No other dance, with its beautifully exotic sensual movements, brings out the 'woman' as this dance does. Bewitching to watch. As Colin finds himself in an awe-stricken trance.
