Overview

With their second record, Candycoatedwaterdrops, Plumb makes a move to expand its fan base and it works. There's not much that is different with their music, other than presentation. Candycoatedwaterdrops has the same core values as their debut -- it's still essentially adult alternative pop
ock, heavy on jangles and sweet melodies -- but the production is fleshed out. Instead of relying on synthesizers, there is a real rhythm section and orchestra on the record, which makes the music feel organic and inviting. They still have some problems coming up with a set of consistently engaging material, but at its best Candycoatedwaterdrops sounds every bet as charming and alluring as its title.

the clips from this entire cd were songs that i loved. there are seldom cd's where you love all of the songs, or at least i do. i loved 10 of the 11 songs. the lyrics really spoke to my heart b/c of where i've been in life. i am going to buy this cd as soon as i can.

I really really like their songs. Whenever I heard their music, I feel happy because I imagine that I'm with Lord God.

Seriously, this CD is great...really catchy, melodic, heartfelt songs. Its one of the 5 CDs I have on random play...havent gotten sick of it yet, in fact its growing on me more and more. Same goes for their self-titled CD, 'Plumb'!

Songs like Stranded and Lie Low overwhelmed me with emotions from relationships that never worked out. The music is beautiful, good enough to bring back memories.

I saw Plumb Friday night (in Illinois) at a local christian church. I do not go to church usally nor do I believe in God, but this band absolutely took my breath away. The words they sang actually talked to me. Although I still am not a believer I do give credit to Plumb for the way they address the issue! Thanks for the awesome show Plumb.
