It is not hard to see why people like this book very much. If you have about $300 to spare you can pretty much turnover about 500 grams every time you grow or a maximum of 2000 gram every year in a grow cabinet in your bed room. That is a lot of herb. A LOT OF HERB. If you have a spare room, a garden shed or a basement then that figure can multiply by ten, easily. There is nothing you can't do if you get the basics right. This book will do that for you and then take you a little further into the areas of hash making and breeding. This book is really a life-saver for many of us. Enjoy if you can get it.

Most marijuana cultivation books are self-published and the lack of editing and publishing standards has always left me somewhat disorganized or confused because not enough care and attention has been paid to the book¿s layout or the author has not addressed my real concerns as a grower. This new marijuana book from Greg Green has made all the difference and deserves its place in the horticulture section of any good library or in the hands of a grower who is really looking for substantial real-world cannabis cultivation information. The book is professional, extremely easy to use and meticulously well researched with plenty of footnotes. From the first few opening pages the book expels some the myths of cultivation practices, especially where marijuana genetics are concerned and explains how to obtain the right choice of seeds and strains for any garden. The book is designed in such a way that it flows almost like a growing plant from start to finish. It is surprising that such a basic idea has not been adopted before and it works extremely well. The book cover the history of cannabis, the species types, various potency types and their relative THC cannabinoid constituents. There are many varieties of species and strains to choose from and the book lists all of these later on. There is a great section which covers plant anatomy which is fully illustrated and is important for understanding the life cycle of the marijuana plant. Surprisingly, seed advice is covered in a no-holds-barred section on how to obtain seeds that actually works - so obtaining good quality seeds is now very easy. Seed storage is explained in detail to help prevent spoiling. There are no less than several germination techniques described in this book and one of them - the propagation kit method - helped me to obtain well above the kind of ratios I was getting before. This section saved me money because seeds are somewhat expensive. Getting the best germination rates possible is very important, especially after shelling out $140 for 10 high quality seeds. (This book costs a fraction of seed prices and is well worth the purchase price. That is how essential it is for growers). Although the book also covers outdoor cultivation methods I used the indoor section mostly because this is the area I really wanted to improve on. I appreciated the lighting section which explained the right type of bulbs that I needed for my grow space. This book taught me a lot of new things about air cooling and light-to-plant distances, to help maximize my yield. I have always had trouble maintaining my pH and the solution to this problem was found here in this book by using the pH balancing formulas. I had never really gone through the importance of the soil¿s structure before but after reading that section I made some changes which greatly influenced plant vigor. I can not reiterate how significant the nutrient section of this book is. Used in conjunction with the right soil type, and the different stages of plant growth, the nutrient advice can make all the difference between healthy looking plants and withered runty ones. The nutrient combinations for each period of the plants development are fully explained by easy to understand formulations and examples. There is a very good guide to troubleshooting nutrient problems that will help you to identify specific disorders and how to solve them. Invaluable information, especially if you are a novice grower. The middle part of the book covers more advanced growing conditions like indoor environmental control and hydroponics. There is a wealth of new information on everything cannabis growing related. The flowering section is like nothing I have read before. I always thought that plants could be forced to show their sex and found the results to vary considerably, but this book has a more in-depth focus on what is called calyx development. Growers will find this section a good advancement and it is my favorite part of the b

The genesis of the home grower has brought with it the necessity to remain somewhat concealed when going about the business of cannabis cultivation. This is probably why most marijuana books are more concerned with the home grower who wants to remain silent rather than the commercial grower who wants to build marijuana production factories. The funny thing is I have just seen in this book a picture of a grow room the size of my garage that produce 400oz (25lbs) of bud every 70 days (2 months and 2 weeks). Now if my calculations are correct that grower must be making around $80,000 every 2 months - in his garage! That is just under $500,000 per year! That grow operation looks ridiculously small for what it produces, but you can see the bud sizes and all the plants that are packed into the space. This is one of the most tempting books I have read. It is no joke either because the results are obtainable by anybody with the willingness to learn the facts within the pages. THE FORCE IS STRONG WITH THIS ONE. I fear what I might do next (he-he)

I got this book to introduce me to the grow culture and to learn what it takes. I was concerned that it might be too much over my head but it wasn't! Yet there was enough information there that even a veteran could learn a thing or two from this book! A true grow BIBLE!

If I had bought this book first I would have probably saved about $4000 and 6 years of my time which I wasted on mags and other sources.

I have to say that the reviews live up to the hype and that this really is a cool manual to own. It contains a host of images and lots of growing methods and information. This is as complete a marijuana grow book as you can get.

This bible is actually better than most plant books because it deals with only a single plant and tells you 100 ways to grow it with illustrations and photographs that are high quality.

This is a cannabis essential book to have. If you are considering even growing then you must have this. We all do. The paperback has massive color pictures and tells you what to do from start to finish.

Top book. A really excellent read. I enjoyed everything that the writer revealed about cannabis and how to grow it. A very unique book for its kind. It has many color photographs and a ton of Black and White ones. This book is better than the others if you want to know. This is what everybody is using now.

This is a great book for every cannabis lover and looks very professional. I highly recommend anyone who wants to learn something new about cannabis and cultivation to obtain and consult this book. My yields are going up and up. This book shows you how to get the best seeds and the best growing environment for lots of top quality manicured bud that is very potent.

This book is probably the most advanced book on the subject that I have ever read. If there is only one book you want then this is the book that you need. It is a complete cannabis cultivation book from start to finish and puts what you thought you knew to shame. The illustrations are good for those who don't like to do a lot of reading.

I only bought this new book from Greg Green recently and I rate it, hands down, as the best book you can buy on the subject. Money well spent. I had an older edition of it which was excellent but the new updated edition is better. There is nothing else like it. I will stress that again. There is nothing else like it! Its layout makes it very easy to read and understand. It is well presented, well edited, authoritative and contains tons of very important cultivation information. It has lots of illustrations, lots of photographs and a very good reference with index and glossary at the back. This manual is really what helped me put a bunch of pot on the table. The next grow round is going to be even better! I have used many grow guides and internet forums to learn as much growing information as I could, but this book is 'the gem of grow guides'. I can not understate how important this book is to me or for you. It covers cannabis botany very well. There is an advanced breeding section in the back which will inspire you to create your own hybrids. There is a massive amount of data in this book for you to read through. Some of it is about the legal aspects of marijuana cultivation. It comes 'high'ly recommended for both the recreational and medical user. Get this book for yourself at all costs if you want to do things the right way. See it for yourself, you will not find any other book like it. It even tells you how to choose the right seeds that you need and where to get them. I did this and it works. This books sits right there at the front of my batch on the shelf. Newbie, amateur, experienced or professional do not grow without it. It really is that Exceptional! Good points: It is not just a book. It is your guru. Presentation and technical information professionally done, first rate. Gets you there very fast. Weak points: When you find any let me know. Maybe gets you there too quickly. Takes the fun out of failure.

Equating this book to other grow guides is like comparing an AK47 [pun intended for those who know their marijuana strains] to a catapult. Greg Green¿s contribution to the cannabis literature world is an outstanding one which really grasps what a grow book should be about and what I wanted to know. This marijuana growing guide is explained in bursting detail supported with vast pictorials, illustrations, references, footnotes which kept me tuned into my grow. At the start of the book Mr. Green describes how he has created a book which reads like a growing plant. He has done just that and then some more. I really liked the coverage of the Dutch seed market. It is the only grow book I have which did this accurately and these genetics make all the difference. Try them out. The book is huge if not the biggest book I have in my collection on ganja growing. It has several color sections. A really big thumbs up for this new grow guide.

You will like this book. It is very technical with lots of illustrations and pictures. There is lots of growing information and where to get seeds. If you are looking for how the big boys get it right.... then this is the book to get. There is more to this book than meets the eye..... it has illustrations of how to build your own vaporizer from household products. The latter part of the book is about cannabis genetics made easy. The final chapter blowing marijuana myths out of the water.... the book screams --- Legalize it by yourself! I highly recommend that growers get this book.

At my nearist medical marajuana clinic (about 7 years ago)... i picked up a small (it was free, mind you) instrctional tri-fold pamplet on how to manage a closit grow... yeah guys, THAT is how my first grow started... i laugh thinking back then, to now where an overload of confusing information. Back then, looking at this stupid pice of paper i thought " man, this s.hit looks easy!". The doc walked out with my dad (as i was 19 years old) and two months later... i was out of the house, flipping burgers and working 3 other jobs. I had that dam pamplet somewere in my apartment wth my roommate. One early morning, after our water bill was overdue and shut off, i went into the woods to take a leak. I guess i was just really stressed, or sleep deprived, or hungover, or something that i took a longer walk into the woods to think about some things. I walked and walked and ran almost smack dab into a indica standing about 7 feet tall. I looked around and there was about ten more of these girls. yes, i had run into somebodys gorrilla patch... i was struck by the bueaty of these forbidden fruits, and i guess i never got over the feeling. That week, after buying some catapult seeds, ( using the pamplet as a guide,) i started my first closit grow, and it was a disastor. After my first week, the first of my 6 seedlings died. And after that... i had no idea between a male to a female plant, witch there was only one to begin with... by the end of my season, i had 4 dead males and a single freaking girl loaded with seeds... after some better reserch i planted her babies and by the end of my second grow, i acually had some smokable bud... i have learned a lot since then and am still learning tons every day between two gorrila patches and a grow room. That is why i HIGHLY ( pun intended) recomend this book. Last year when i found it i changed some things to my grow room... you know, just small things like lights, new paint, new fertz and another gorilla patch tactic. Sweet jesus, just by following A FEW of these techniques i ended my grow with a TON of herb... which i just sold the last of last month... and i totaled (drum-roll please) over 64,000 big ones in tax free us dollars... holy shi't.... that is a massive gain over my usual aprox 25,000 dollar pay day. I will now swear my life on this goddam book. Seriously... this year im taking a break to improve my grow room termendiously. Im adding all new venting, even better lights, another co2 emiter, state of the art watering system... and im tearing down a wall and adding another 28 by 35 room to my grow op. Thank you for this book, man. and i highly recomend you buy it.... happy smoking!
