I am so glad I own this book. It allowed me to master canning and preserving in a hurry. Best yet, the recipes really work - they're big in flavors and looks. My favorites are the Mixed Pickle Veggies and Spicy Pear Jam. I'd make both for gifts, but know I'll eat them before I can give them away!
