Great for someone new to the area who likes to Kayak

I like the concept of the book, but it seems to have a difficult layout. I like the written descriptions of the rivers and appreciate the effort to describe potential obstacles. Wish the maps were in color and were a bit clearer and easier to read. The maps need a legend to tell you what all the icons on the map stand for. I think it is great that the book provides the reader with a brief history of the river along with put in and take out points. That is the greatest challenge for someone new to the area, knowing where you can access and take out from the river. An overall great find that will help new kayakers and longtime kayakers discover many hidden treasures of Ohio waterways.
