Pokemon Mystery Dungeon~Bringing the Fire: Chapter 3

((FYI: The Lillipup in this story is not the same one from PMD: MtI.))
Scorch and Aqua walked into the Rocky Caverns. It was dark, with gray stone. The stalactites dripped water onto Team Gemstone's heads, which Scorch oddly disliked. The air was humid and warm. They battled thier way through Pokemon, which were aggressive for some. "Why are they attacking us?" Scorch asked her partner, biting into an apple while they rest. "I think it's because not all Pokemon are born civil. They can think and talk like us, but all they think about is surviving and protecting thier territory. But there's cases when they decide to adapt into our society, and even join rescue teams," Aqua replied. After a while, they went back to searching for the ki<_>dnapped Pokemon.
Finally, they came into a room adorned with crystals. In the middle was a dog-like Pokemon with light brown fur, except for the shaggy fur covering his face, which was pale cream. A purple cape rests on his back. It was bound by rope, and trembling. "Don't worry! We're here to rescue you!" said the Torchic. When they apprached the Lillipup, they were stopped by a large violet Pokemon, with purple spikes lining its back and a large horn of the same color on its forehead. "Not so fast! I won't let you take my ho<_>stage!" Nidoking growled. "We'll see about that! Ember!" Scorch shouted, spewing flames out her mouth. Nidoking roared in pa<_>in, and turned towards the leader of Team Gemstone. "Here's your chance," she whispered to Aqua. "Go to Lillipup and free him while I got Nidoking distracted." The Totodile nodded her blue head, before running towards the Lillipup. "Iron Tail!" snarled Nidoking. His tail turned a glowing white, and sl<_>ammed Scorch with it, sending her towards the wall. "Focus Energy!" Scorch said, pumping herself up so that there was a chance she will di<_>sh out more damage. "Po<_>ison Sting!" Nidoking yelled, releasing violet to<_>xic needles in the direction of Scorch. She dodged the attack and shouted "Ember!" Once again, fire came out of her beak, which dealt more damage to Nidoking than usual. "Argh! Earthquake!" he roared, stopping his foot and shaking the ground so much that it made Scorch fall over, as well as hurt her. She got off the ground, when suddenly one voice yelled "Water Gu<_>n!" while another shouted "Bi<_>te!" A jet of water came out Aqua's ja<_>ws, hi<_>tting Nidoking, while Lillipup bi<_>t him. Soon, they de<_>feated Nidoking. "Gah! I'll be back! Just wait!" he roared, before leaving.
***
"Thank you so much!" Zigzagoon said. "All in a day's work, sir," Scorch commented. Lillipup thanked them as well. Team Gemstone was given 500 P and a Revive Seed. They went back to the Rainbow Guild, where they went to sleep in thier new room. "You got to admit, that was awesome," Aqua said. "Yeah. I can't wait for tommorrow," replied Scorch. The Totodile stretched. "Well, g'night."
"G'night!"
