    Great for flash settings, not thorough for camera interaction

    McLernon's book provides greatly detailed instructions on how to navigate and set the flash settings. It was very instructive to sit down with the book and my 580EXII flashes to play and experiment with the settings. It also provided an excellent introduction to light modifiers, light stands, and other accessories. I was surprised that the book did not address what to expect of the flash when in the P, Tv, Av, and M camera settings. I found the following website to be very good at filling in the blanks:
