    Still not clear to me....

I am looking for a very basic teaching tool about my new Canon DSLR camera. When I say basic I really mean BASIC! This book is well written but still doesn't clarify many of the terms I need to better understand so I'm still stuck but trying!! If anyone has any other suggestions on how to better understand the concepts I need for learning more about this device and also more about photography itself, please feel free to share!! I do think this book is helpful just not written for beginners!!
