For scholars interested in the hierarchical structure of the world-system, this book is a valuable source of empirical data and theory. Kentor's measures of world-economy position are effective tools in cross-national research -- I use them in my work. It is very accessable for readers that are not familiar with the world-systems literature. Can be used in undergraduate and graduate courses. His writing style is very to-the-point. No unnecessary filler. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
