    Clear, Comprehensive, Masterful

    With 25 years in the trenches of fund development, I have read a multitude of fundraising and management books over the years. This ranks up near the best, in terms of readability, relationship of context/concept/practicality, tone, flow, length/sequencing of the segments – basically, all of the above. I read a chapter or two a night, and actually found myself looking forward to sitting down with it (rather than filled with dread). It was clear, comprehensive - AND easy to read. This book contains a lifetime of professional expertise, in a package that makes it easy to absorb. It's a must have for anyone contemplating a capital campaign, no doubt about it.
