A fun read with many twists, Some of the characters could have been explored a bit more but that might have slowed the overall dynamic of thr tale. This is an "I do not want to put it down til I am done" book

I loved every moment of it. I'm a native Texan so love to learn more about my state. The writing was great, the characters intriguing, the story-line kept me guessing. I was at the Denny's in Austin across the highway from Memorial Stadium while I was reading that scene so I could really picture the blimp scene happening. Keep writing, George.

Bill Travis is handling the finances of a death row inmate when he stumbles across some dangerous, very damaging information about a powerful man.
He suddenly finds out his life is at risk, and anyone he may have shared the secret with is also in danger. The result is a pulse-pounding, heart-racing thriller that takes place in a locale the author knows intimately--he brings to life the raw beauty and entertaining eccentricities of Texas.
The dialogue crackles with humor, the plot keeps you guessing, and just when you think you’ve figured it out, things take a surprising twist.
Bill’s observations are astute, funny and insightful. He’s a great protagonist. When he can’t help but investigate, he becomes enmeshed in a web of deceit that stretches far and wide. He goes on the run while attempting to ferret out the truth, with near-fatal results.
“Capitol Offense” has everything a great mystery-thriller should have - action, suspense and real 3-D characters. Highly recommended.
