The Death Of Captain America storyline was fantastic and while this series does a lot to undo that its done so well its hard to imagine people complaining. While death in comics is always fleeting, Cap’s death did last for over a year, the ramifications are still being felt today. Ed Brubaker, once again, does an amazing job of bringing so many elements together without overwhelming the reader. Bryan Hitch does a fantastic job on big splash pages but small details sometimes get muddled. Overall, a very good book!

    Steve Rogers Returns!

Like Spider-Man and the Green Goblin, Batman and the Joker, Captain America and the Red Skull are destined to do their ages long battle forever. This book left me with my jaw open. Brilliantly put together with jaw dropping artwork and an intricate plot. The tale of Steve's rebirth comes with a conclusion that's sure to leave the reader wondering "What's next for America's greatest hero?" Seeing Steve Rogers wield the shield again in this book was something that, honestly, almost brought me to tears. Brubaker writes Captain America so wonderfully that as I read I can't help but feel inspired by the man. He's my inspiration and I have Brubaker and Marvel to thank for that.

After buying each comic an putting them away in plactic , has Me miss the whole idea of reading a book , so when this book came out with all six issues in one , gave me a whole new outlook to read this cool story . I would recommend this " classic " story to any fan of CAPTAIN AMERICA .I would also recommend "THE ULTIMATE WINTER SOLDIER " as well . Ed Brubaker stories make adult comics exciting to read .
