Editorial Reviews

Anne Hillerman
"It reads like Janet Evanovich morphing into Rachel Ray while filming a remake of the Perils of Pauline."
Craig Johnson
"You know what it's like, getting a yearning for a Hawaiian-Romance-Mystery-Cookbook. S.P. Grogan's Captain Cooked is a book you can sink your teeth into in more ways than one."
John4Stop Star Advertiser Review
"I picked up 'Captain Cooked' at Borders at Ward Centre. It is a fun not serious read, even with a mantra, 'When in doubt, go to the beach!' Reviewer failed to mention the GPS treasure hunt is for a hidden war club when found and redeemed is worth $5,000. But, I think, this mystery has something for everyone, and I agree, it's not like Agatha Christie but more modern hip, like a young comedic Jennifer Anniston as a haole looking for island romance and finding murder instead. Recommend."
