Overview

In this alluring novel of romantic suspense from New York Times bestselling author Kay Hooper, two lost souls face their demons—and forge a connection as profound as the ocean is deep.

When Robin Stuart is pulled, drenched and shivering, from the stormy seas, she can only cling desperately to the arms that surround her. But she has reason to suspect that she’s traded one terror for another. Robin has been too close to danger not to recognize it again: in the eyes of the rugged, fearless man who saved her life.

Michael Siran is an expert at playing dangerous games. But from the moment the terrified beauty with the piercing gaze sets foot on his ship, he’s touched by a true sense of purpose. Throwing caution to the wind, Robin insists on remaining by his side—even though she is asking the world of a man who trusts no one. As they share a passion born in turmoil and fueled by peril, Michael is determined to give her everything—if he can only make her understand that even heroes are human, and that her courage runs as deep as his love.

(( this sorta continyes off my last story, Nightmare Rarity.))
"Rarity!" Called Twilight. Rarity looked over her shoulder. "What?" Twilight smiled." Do you want to have a slumber party at my house?" Rarity thought a bit." Oh, alright. I'll go get the others." There was an unheard gasp. Spike had been sitting on a nearby bench. Rarity? At his house? It was both a dream and a nightmare. It would be a dream because the most beautiful and generous pony in Equestria would be sleeping in the same house. But it would also be a nightmare because he miggt embarress himself. What was he to do?
that night...
Spike could hear the girls giggling down stairs. He was hiding under his covers. He didnt know why he was so nervous around them, but he was." I wonder why Spike isnt down here with us? Thats unlike him." He heard Twilight say. Then he heard her come up the stairs." Spike? Dont you want to come play Truth or Dare with us?" Twilight asked, giving Spike a concerned look." Oh, um, i'll uh, pass." He mumbled." Oh." She said. Then she went back downstairs. Hiding under his covers, he tried to fall asleep. For some strange reason, he couldnt. He pulled off the covers and got out of bed. Then he was pushed back in. Gazing up, he saw a shadowed figure above him. He coulnt move his legs. He couldnt scream. He sat there, frozen, staring at the dark thing.
