I've always loved how Chaikin wrote. She makes you feel as if you are the character. This book is no different. You'll probably love it too!

This is the first from this author that I have ever read and I don't think that I will try another of her books. I am used to reading books with more heat in the romance than this book has. As a matter of fact there was very little focus on the romance between the hero and heroin. However there is a story and it continues into another novel. Hence, the reason I gave it an okay, but not great reading. The story just wasn't exciting enough for me to want to read on. But obviously there are others who have enjoyed this book. So don't take my word for it give it a shot. However if you like books more like Angela Knight, Karen Marie Moning, Jilliane P. Hoffman and Kresley Cole to name a few, you will be profoundly disappointed.
