Overview

The wildly popular series by K.A. Applegate is back! The first six books of Animorphs return, with striking new lenticular covers that morph.

It was bad when Jake found out his brother was one of them. A Human-Controller. A slave. But that was nothing compared to this.

When the Animorphs decide to visit the Yeerks' new base, it seems simple. But then they get caught and Jake falls -- just for a moment -- into the Yeerk pool.

Now they're out, and his friends can't see it. To them he's just like normal. But Jake is screaming for help. His worst fear has finally come true. He's become the enemy.

It seems the Yeerks have a new plan to infest the Human race: a hospital. during the destruction of the new hospital Jake is turned into a controller! I won't spoil the rest of it to you. you would have to read it for yourself.

Unfortunately, Jake has been captured. Unless something is done, the animorphs are dead meat... or worse.

In this chapter Jake gives the fans a first hand account of what being a controler means. Jake was still completely aware of everything. The Yeerk was who move his arms, legs, eyes, etc. His voice, emotions, memories - his entire life experience was a tool the Yeerk could use at will. Jake's greatest horror came when the Yeerk used his morphing power. The others hold him captive in a cabin for 3 days, taking turns standing guard. They use their own morphs to keep the Yeerk from escaping. The Yeerk's death was agonizing, to both it and Jake. This chapter reveals how much of a risk Elfangor took. While they remained free the Animorphs were the Earth's only hope. But if they were ever captured they'd be a weapon the Yeerks could use against the rest of the galaxy. Elfangor had risked Visser 3 gaining a squad of morph capable contolers.
