Picking up the book, I was totally absorbed in the love story of Mari and Ekkatt. Set on a different planet, the two were soul mates with many of the same beliefs. Mari's adjustment to begin captured and her strong will to survive make you root for her. Ekkart's sexual facade and surfacing compassion have you falling in love with him. Together they fight their enemies, create a love bond and search for solitude to live together in peace. Read this book, you will totally enjoy it.

I really enjoyed this book! I would forward to a continuation in this world. I liked the characters and how strong the female lead was. The male also strong enough to change his mind and realize how wrong it is to abduct and sell humans. I liked how he fell for her and would do anything to keep her safe.

132 pages. This was a suprisingly good sci-fi romance. I did not think I was going to like it when it started with her being kidnapped by aliens and treated like cattle and to be sold as food. But it turned around when one of her kidnappers realised she was more than a piece of meat.

This book was an adventure and I enjoyed it very much! I love the world that Julia Rachel Barrett has created. I would definitly love for this to be a series, because I can't stop thinking about this book. I got this book in the mail yesterday and I was so happy I started reading it right away and it was just so good that I couldn't put it down. I usually start another book right after I read, but I didn't want to read about anything but these characters. Mari's character is very courageous, strong-willed, humorous, and I love everything about her character. Ekkatt has a hard exterior but he has a good heart and he is kind, and caring. They come together and find out that they have both lost their families and end up making a new one together, despite what the law of his people say about intercourse with humans being a sin against nature. Mari teaches him that just because they are different doesn't mean it's wrong, his people are just afraid of change. This book was really good, I would highly reccommend you read it because you will love every second of it. I am very pleased that I won this book and if I hadn't won it I would have definitly have bought it! Julia you are an amazing author!!! I will be keeping a look out for your books (:

**Review and Giveaway** TBR reviewer: Nat The setting of Attun-Ra is a fantasy world with wild beasts and very primitive culture. They're advanced when it comes to science and biology, but culturally speaking, we're way ahead of them. It was past time for them to comprehend and accept new races and stop with the prejudice. That's one of the things I really loved about this book, it approaches subjects we've been through and spent decades trying to overcome. To them it's a matter of life and death, advanced technology has nothing to do with it. It was very nice to observe how the love between Ekkatt and Mari started to grow. When I finished the book I still wanted more, wanted to know a few more background details and explanations. I expected more from the ending. Maybe there's a sequel coming? Wrapping up: good book, time well spent, sense of enjoyment and wanting more. What are you waiting for? Read this book!!!
