After her ladies wager is revealed by a blabbermouth friend, a young debutante rejects the very public proposal made by the man she loves because she thinks he's jesting so she can win the wager. He must now convince her that he truly loves her and wants to marry her. A game of hide and seek involving seduction in a cupboard is Bramwell's way of proving to Cora that he's truly serious in his intentions. Alas, this cupboard plot has appeared in several romances, but this is still a good little story and I did enjoy it.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
