In the wake of Yo-Yo Ma's successful Silk Road Journeys, Deutsche Grammophon gets in on the act with its own collection of Silk Road-inspired music. While Ma's album focuses on new interpretations of traditional styles found along the ancient Asian trade route, this compilation collects familiar pieces by classical masters, each with an oriental flavor.
