Watched the show as a kid when it aired on kidswb, the edited version. But when i went to my cousins place i ended up watching the spanish unedited version and enjoyed the show even more. When i heard that dark horse was re-releasing the clamp manga classic, i knew i had to get my hands on it and see how different the manga was to the anime. Surprisingly it was at least at par with one another, not changing the characters, story, and elements when it was formed in an anime, but adding new ideas at the same time. Great manga overall and a must have

What a great addition to any manga fan's collection. Whether you are a shojo or shonen fan you've heard of "Card Captor Sakura" and you know the synopsis. If you are just looking for a good, wholesome story with great fantasy and magic with amazing art work, you are going to enjoy this series. Volume 1 is the origin story and the introduction of the main characters. I was so happy to get this edition of the first 3 volumes. I've collected the comics over the years but I had various editions and translations. Dark Horse did an amazing job of creating value and poise for this classic comic by Clamp. Just check it out. The book is beautiful and perfectly fine for younger readers.

Great book! Or should I say "books?"

This is one of my favorite manga series of all time. I watched the anime too, when I was younger (titled "Cardcaptors" which was heavily edited by the time it premiered in the USA) and this series is even better than I remembered it! Anyone who likes anime or manga should check out this wonderful series!
