Author Susan Fox begins an exciting new series with this heartwarming introduction to the rugged Western town of Caribou Crossing—where a starry-eyed young couple sow the seeds of the life they've always wanted. . .

Wade Bly is certain of his destiny: He'll marry his high school sweetheart, Miriam, work at his father's ranch, and eventually inherit the place and make it his own. And of course, they'll have a few kids once they've had time to enjoy married life and save some money. But when an unexpected pregnancy speeds up their plans, Wade can only hope he's up for the challenge. . .

Miriam always knew she and Wade would be happy together. He's a good provider and a doting father to their spirited daughter, Jess. And when the lights go out, he's the passionate cowboy of her wildest dreams. But when a string of disappointments leaves them both feeling doubtful about their future, they'll have to rediscover themselves and their love—to see that the life they fear is over is really just beginning. . .

Good book but the author could toned down the sex just a little.

Some nice romance with a little more about their sex life than i want to know. Almost seems like a primer for newlyweds which is fine, with the good parts of being a husband and wife and the not so great parts included.

I don't know what everyone else was talking about...this book has a lot of heart. It made you realize that even though time get tough in any relationship, you stick it out, work on the issue and love that person. It's a beautiful love story but a "sexy" benefit.

Nice story about how communication is so important and why "for better AND for worse" shouldn't be taken lightly. I'm looking forward to Jess and Evan's story.

A great read. I enjoyed this without all the cursing, etc. A book you can imagine yourself in. I had to get the next book to read too.

This as all the elements of a good story. It has laughable moments and serious moments. I will be reading other books by Susan Fox.

This book is well written but it is heavy on emotions and sadness. It's a good read but moves a bit slow. First in a series.
