Having been a student of Carl Runk, I was excited to get his book. Coach Runk was one of the toughest guys I ever met but not in a physical way. He communicated with us on the field and showed us respect for which we rewarded him in winning games.

Coaching Lacrosse, by Carl Runk should be bought by everyone wishing to fully understand the game and how best to teach your team how to execute on the field. It has helped me to coach my 9 to 11 year old boys how to play this great game and I recommend it to other coahes. The drills are simple to follow and very effective especially when you are working with young kids. I enjoyed reliving my days as a player for Coach Runk at Towson University and caught myself saying.."I remember that play." Not only is Coach Carl a great coach but he is a great person and never demeaned any player after making a bad play. As a coach, I am blessed I was taught by one of the best. Cooke Boyd,
