Overview

When good girls go bad, very, very bad . . .

The minute Carrie meets tattooed, bad-boy bartender Dallon, her decision is made. He's the one, her ticket to freedom and a new, independent life. She's tired of dictates and zero dates and following the path laid out before her by her well-meaning-but-completely-out-of touch-with-her-reality religious parents.

Dallon sees the buttoned-up, full-of-curves woman outside the grocery store and feels the flames of hell licking at his heels. When she asks him for directions to the large, nearby university where she's starting work, his gut-twisting lust for her doesn't diminish, but those flames start to singe his tough-as-nails hide.

With Dallon's promise of not sleeping with anyone associated with the university his father is the dean of about to go up in smoke, Carrie takes the first exit off the Heavenly Highway straight onto Sin Street. She wants Dallon to teach her all the things a good girl should never know, and she won't take Hell no for an answer.

Reader Advisory: What Dallon does with a beer bottle may be illegal in forty-eight out of fifty states . . . and at least two territories.

Enjoyed the characters in this book. If you don't find guys with tattoos and piercings attractive this wouldn't be the book for you. Recommend you read the other 2 in the series also!

    More emotional than the others.

This book is more emotional than the one before it and after it. The heroine is trying to find her way in the world, away from her super religious and over protective parents. I really felt for her. She wanted to be independent and her parent were certainly not helpful. Good thing she has a sexy man to lean on when she gets bummed :0)

    Hot, Hot, Hot

Originally posted at: www.whippedcream2.blogspot.com ***** This book has the most interesting usage of bar utensils I have ever seen! Carrie is a 30-year-old sheltered woman who is looking to break loose. No longer wishing to live in her parents' forced lifestyle, she searches out Dallon, a tattooed bar owner. I would love to see the artwork for some of the tattoos on his body! But Dallon is far from who she thought he was. Once living the same lifestyle, he too escaped and helps Carrie along the way.

I fell in love with all the characters in this book. I personally have never led a sheltered life, but this author easily put me in the shoes of those who have. Carrie stuck her neck out even when she didn't know the consequences, and that made her stronger in my eyes. It takes a lot of guts to leave a job without another one lined up. I admired her for strength and it made the story even that more enjoyable.

Dallon uses some pretty interesting things on innocent Carrie and she loves it. I have never read a story where a beer bottle is used in quite that way. It will definitely make me blush when I look at a Corona bottle from now on.

The fireworks between these two was definitely hot. I would highly recommend this book. Dallon was one bad boy I could not get enough of.
