it ties up all the loose ends, and completely satisfies what the readers want. Shane is so amazing with Claire, i love their relationship with each other, so glad it finally happens. it had me hanging on edge to figure out what would happen between the vampires and humans. it puts the drama in at the perfect times. I'm so going to reread it. Can't wait for the next one!

Somehow, this series gets better and better with each book! Carpe Corpus had lots of unexpected turns. Love, friendship, and suspense kept my attention glued to the pages until I was finished. I'm absolutely in love with these characters...and that was only further solidified in this installment! I can't get enough of them and I'm happy to know that I'm only half way through the books (there are supposed to be 12, at least for now).

Ohmygoddyness!! This book was completely amazing. I loved that Shane and Claire... sorry I'm not going to ruin it for those who have not read it yet. This series for me ranks higher than Twilight. I hated the cliff hanger but if you are like me and just can't wait until November 3,2009, then you can go onto her website and read the first three chapters of Fade Out. This series is utterly extraordinary!

Carpe Corpus is the best book yet in the Morganville Vampires series. Truthfully the begining was a bit discouraging. It kinda threw me off when i first started. Everyone was spilt up and there were so many secrets to figure out, but once you get past the all the supposed betrayls it gets better. By the end i was just so wrapped up in the story (as I have been with all the rest of the books). I can not wait for November when Fade Out is released. This wait could be worse than the wait for Breaking Dawn!

AHHH! this book was amazing. Thorughtout the book you'll just love claire and shane being together. But you start to wonder wether a certain crazy vampire is getting the hots for her. Shane and Claire's relationship gets stronger and stronger and although Claire starts to worry that they are going to fall apart. Michael and Eve's relationship does not change much but they are both still amazing. The vampires are still hardcore (except for one ;) who is getting a soft side) and Bishop is pretty scary. This book was another amazing book Rachel Caine has written. She never fails to give a exciting, thrilling novel!

Oh My Gosh!!!! I love this book! I couldn';t wait to read it and when I did I was left breathless. I couldn't beleive the twists in the book, they were mostly unsepecxted! I love Clarie and Shane's relationship. It's just sooo realilistic(?). Cn't wait for Fade Out!!!!

The first five books were amazing, and Shane is my favorite character, and i love how he cares so much about Claire, and the fact that he won't just go with her. But for all you people who can't wait for the big moment you and Claire have been waiting for, if you read the fifth book when Shane talked to Eve he said he'd wait another year because she was only sixteen, well in the sneak peak she turns seventeen so your wait is over!!!!

This book was full of excitement and confusion and a lot of warring emotions. It takes you on a ride from fear and betrayal to understanding and acceptance and then of course the dreaded cliffhanger at the end. The vampire war comes to a climax in this edition and we get to see which side will be triumphant. We get to see how many losses we must suffer in the process and how that takes it's toll on our favorite characters. Claire is still front and center and being used as a pawn by more than the people you'd expect. She gets caught in the middle time and time again and seems to be always in the wrong place at the wrong time...or is she in the right place? I love the relationship between her and the housemates. Each relationship being different, but somehow making this tightknit and unique group of friends who would do anything for one another. It's rare to find that kind of friends and it's very satisfying to read about them. I will continue to read the Morganville Vampire books and I definitely recommend them for fans of the genre.

I wanted to read this one because I am addicted to the series, and can't get enough right now. It is nice to be able to binge on a series and not have to worry about forgetting details and having that burning need to have the next one right that second and the let down of having to wait another year or so for the characters you have fallen in love with and the romance that has your own toes tingling.     It is hard to see Claire in this one because she is serving Bishop because of the magical tattoo that he gave her that compels her to obey him. She has become an understandably outcast in Morganville for those loyal to Amelie or maybe just hates Bishop. That includes Eve, which breaks her heart and mine too because I love their tight friendship.     Shane is captured in this one, stuck in a cell with his dad because of his ties to the anti-vampire movement his dad is in charge of. Its hard having the distance between them because I love seeing them together.      One good thing in this one is that Claire is turning seventeen which means that it is not illegal for her and Shane to be together once they are finally reunited.     The betrayals and double crosses in this one had my mind spinning, but I loved how this one ended and tied up. Though, my addiction is screaming for me to go ahead and read the next one. Bottom Line: Loving this series, and nothing about this book changed that.

This series is onethat im always happy to read at any moment. Might be a spoiler alert, but it is also a cauting: Shane and Claire finally do it in this one. Not much to it , but jus a heades up. Anywho... amazing book!!! And even though i agree with a previous comment tha it should have been the ending, which, by all means, it could have. But i was happy that it wasnt bc i know, unlike soooome authors, Rachel wont ruin this.^-^ ~~DarkAngel~~
