Rex Miller is Professor Emeritus of Industrial Technology at State University College at Buffalo and has taught technical curriculum at the college level for more than 40 years. He is the co-author of McGraw-Hill's best-selling third edition of this book, and the author of more than 75 texts for vocational and industrial arts programs. He lives in Round Rock, Texas.

Mark R. Miller is Chairman and Associate Professor of Industrial Technology at Texas A&M University in Kingsville, Texas. He teaches construction courses for future middle managers in the trade. He is coauthor of several technical books, including McGraw-Hill’s best- selling prior edition of this one. He lives in Kingsville, Texas.
