I read this book to my two young children and they absolutely love Jeffrey and his friends. The book is well written by Ms. Hankinson. She really has a knack for this genre. I look forward to more books from this gifted and talented author.

absolutely excellent story! wonderful read for young children, with a great moral lesson for all. to those unsure about buying this book, let me say not only is the story worth it, but this promising new author's web page shows all that she is way more than a one hit wonder. mrs. hankinson also writes short stories and poetry which can be seen on grammysbookshelf.com/index. i strongly suggest that you all check it out, and can't wait for the next book!

I just wanted to say that I find this to be a very wonderful book for small children! The story was well written and wonderfully told by someone who has an obvious love and talent for teaching children. Hopefully this is just the first in a long line of great books!

Wonderful children's story Mrs. Hankinson!! I just bought this book, and read it to my children...they LOVED it!! In a day and age where there are so few children's books with a strong moral base, this book was a breath of fresh air. I will strongly recommend this book to everyone i know with small children, and I hope there are many more to come! Thank-you so much for a great book! I will be sharing this with my kindergarten class as well!!

I am from New Brunswick who has 3 children who are under the age of 8 that enjoyed reading and having the book read to them as they understood friends are fun to have and be with which was a big part of this books teaching. They all understood that being a friend will help you be happier and easier to go through life then being a bully or someone who takes things that is not theirs. Good simple story without going overboard to get its point across to solve issues. This well written simply laid out story along with the uncomplicated pictures go hand in hand to see how it can be done to get a point across in solving issues.

A well written book with a wonderful story on the trials and tribulations of using social skills with dealing with bully¿s to demonstrate the benefits that friendship is better then fighting. A book that makes it easy to understand and visualize the characters which makes the artwork simple and easy to draw

I'am a teacher of challenged children, who have limited attention spans. I was able to see as I was reading the book to them they were enjoying it totally. Being mildly challenged, many could relate to being bullied.

My grandchildren love to read and several of them are still rather young. It's great to find a clean, wholesome book written for their age that isn't boring and they don't mind hearing again and again. It's a plus that there is a good moral teaching in it.

I thought Carrot Walnut Pie to be a wonderful way to show children how to handle both hurtful and morally misleading trials of childhood.
