Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Jody Little
In this third book in the series "The Buddy Files," the detective dog Buddy wonders what happened to his old family. He knows Dad and Kayla went to Springtown to visit Grandma. He also knows that there was a tornado in Springtown. Buddy is worried. When he sees people moving furniture out of Kayla's house, Buddy hides in their van, hoping the drivers will take him to Springtown to his old family. He knows his new family will worry about him, but he has to find out if Kayla and Dad are okay. Buddy's adventures include help from the dog Network and a few hours trapped inside a storage garage, but finally Buddy finds Kayla and Dad, safe and sound. When Buddy learns that Kayla and Dad will be staying in Springtown to help rebuild homes torn down by the tornado, he knows he must return to his new family. Dog lovers will enjoy the funny antics of Buddy, the detective dog. Teachers will appreciate the simple language and the themes of friendship, loyalty, and family. Reviewer: Jody Little

Best book ever! Said 8 year old daughter

The Buddy Files is a terrific story told by Buddy, a service dog. He is very sweet and his dog-like attitudes are spot on. My daughter loves these books!
