About the Author

Susan (Honickman) Samtur was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. She attended New York City Public Schools and received her B.S. and M.S. in Education from City College of New York. While bringing up four children on a budget, Samtur began collecting "scraps" of paper-- coupons-- to save money. Realizing their importance in greatly reducing her weekly grocery bill, she quickly became turned on to coupons! Before long she was appearing on television shows across the country flaunting her savings of hundreds of dollars at the supermarket. It was during this time that she sought to share her exciting new findings with consumers in Refundle Buindle, a bi-monthly newsletter she began with information on new products, refund offers and the coupon club.
