Meet the Author

O. L. Cairo was born in Cuba but came to the United States as a teenager in the early years of the Castro era. She presently resides in Miami, FL.

An avid reader from a young age and a love for books gave her the encouragement in 2001, when her first grandchild was born, to begin outlining different ideas that she could one day tell her grandchildren as a bedtime story and in 2003, when she left the work force to take care of her third grandchild, she began in earnest to write them.

O. L. Cairo has a published book "Fairy Tales" which includes 7 charming stories and is currently working on a series about the adventures of a kitten.

Great new story - You must check it out!

Very captivating! I love the fact that the unicorn and the Pegasus which were the only things she cherished from her 'other life' came to her wedding

This was the worst written book I have ever read.  The grammer is atrocious.   Every other sentence is a run-on sentence or completely lacks transition between ideas.  My 8 year old daughter repeatedly pointed out the poor writing.  DO NOT ORDER!  Obviously self published with no editing.  I'm not sure why Barnes and Noble catalogs this!
