This book came highly recommended from our Knitting Guild president who is certified through the TKGA Master Knitting program. There is an amazing variety and techniques now available at my fingertips instead of spending hours scouring the internet for answers. I especially like the chart that pairs cast ons and bind offs for matching edges, as well as the photos that show some right/wrong sides or the variations available. Oh yes, the hardcover with the spiral bound pages is worth the extra few dollars! It lays completely flat and pages stay open for reading while your hands are busy trying the techniques with yarn and needles.

This is a good reference work. I plan to use it to personalize instructions for plain items to give them more interesting edgings. I found the illustrations easy to follow.
