Book Summary

When Catherine's aunt dies in a suspicious accident, she comes back to her hometown to settle the estate. She expects it to be an easy job, but she doesn't count on being chased by a pack of wild wolves, and an unknown enemy who sprays graffiti on the house and throws bricks through her windows. When the local police force is less than helpful it is up to Cat to find out what's going on with the help of her all too human lover, Jacob.

Known as the Mad Trapper, Jacob has been in love with Cat since high school. Now that she's back in town he intends to show her that a human-shifter relationship can be just what a were-cat needs to keep her out of trouble.

Praise for Cat Came Back

"Ms. Kane takes a shifter and a human and weaves their loves together with love and adventure. This story has lots of plot twists that will keep the reader guessing until the final reveal."

Meet the Author

Anne Kane

Anne is a gorgeous supermodel who writes romance in her spare time while jetting around Europe with a string of boy-toys in tow.

Hmmm... no one is going to believe that. How about this?

Anne is an undercover agent for a super secret government agency and when not saving the world for democracy and all the good people, she writes romance one-handed on a special mini computer designed by a mad scientist just for her.

Yeah, that sounds way better. So, ignore the people who tell you she's just an ordinary person with an extraordinary imagination. They're just jealous because she gets to play with James Bond and vacation in exotic locations.

Honestly!

When she's not busy saving the world or writing the next great novel, she likes to kayak, hike, ride motorcycles, swim, skate, practice karate, play her guitar, sing and of course, read.

Love the shifter books. In this one the girl is a shifter and the man is fully human, which is a bit of a twist. There's romance, and a mystery in this book and both are wrapped up nicely at the end. A nice summer read.
