Outstanding vet care resource for pet owners...

In fact, perhaps the best I've seen. As a professional manager of domestic and exotic animals, my charges have included toadfish and grizzlies, dolphins and pigs. I've used many vet references and texts, and this is one of the best for pet owners. I love the layout and organization. Emergency information is on the inside covers - no looking in the index or flipping pages required. Critical points are extracted to lists and tables, for easy use. Plentiful pictures and graphics make instructions crystal clear. The book is well written, and is mostly accurate. The editing is excellent. I own, use and recommend this book.

    Helpful for a Novice Cat-Parent

This book was extremely informative and helpful for me as a someone who has never parented a cat or any pet other than a fish. I had so many concerns about the cat's health and well-being, such as the best food to feed her, how to trim her nails, and how to accomplish a cat bath without having an instant swimming pool on the floor. I also discovered health information in this book that I had never heard of, such as the diseases and health conditions. There was so much that I did not know about cats that this book prepared me for. Now, I feel like I can handle any issue that might come up with my kitty.
