    Whitetail

Whitetail shakes her head and shrugs as Lily walked away. She hadn't expected Lilywolf to forgive her, not that she could blame her, but she assumed there wasn't much she could say to change her mind. Her life had turned her into a cat who could lose a friend but keep moving forward. Otherwise she would've been destroyed by sadness when her family had been taken away, and she wasn't sure whether or not that was a good thing. Whitetail sighs and heads back to the camp, she was tired and wanted to rest.

    Cloudripple

Cloudripple smiled. "I missed you too," she murmured, nuzzling her friend. "I'll meet you back at camp; I've got something to tell you." Laughter gleamed in her eyes as she turned and padded back to camp, a smile on her face for the first time in days.
(I'm probably going to on for a while tonight, but let's try to talk at 10:30 Eastern at the latest. Sound good?)

The Cat Who Turned On And Off

I highly recommend The Cat Who Turned On And Off. Who knew cats, especially Koko a Siamese cat, could give Jim Qwilleran clues to solve murders. Lilian Jackson Braun does it again with another saga of the Cat Who series. This mystery is set in Junktown where there are many shops that sell antiques. Qwilleran of course, is writing a story on junktown and stays there making new friends and acquaintances on the way. This is one of the first books with Yum Yum in the whole book. Of course, another death occurs when Qwilleran is in Junktown and he solves it with Koko's help. The book is very entertaining.

Yay for Koko and Yum Yum

Lillian Jackson Braun writes wonderfully. I enjoy the cats' antics, the mystery, and poor Qwill just shakes his head and knows the cats are just a bit superior to him, but doesn't mind.

I have been enjoying seeing how Koko and Yum Yum came to live with him, how much he really gets attached to them (the time he thought he lost them, it drives it home).

    Again, a good read.

    light reading

The Cat Who books are fun light reading that can be shared with your Mom or Grandmother without fear of off color story lines or themes that are too controversial. This is one of the older ones in the series so it was fun to read about the characters with a retro look into thier past!
