Great to be back in Cricket Creek!

I fell in love with Cricket Creek in Playing for Keeps and couldn't wait for Catch of a lifetime to be released. LuAnn McClane sure didn't disappoint! I am a big fan of books written in a series and this one is quickly turning out to be one of my favorites. I immediately was rooting for sassy Jessica and sexy Ty. I felt their story reached me in a real life kind of way. While i'm technically younger than the characters in this book, everything they were thinking and feeling I could find a way to connect with..regardless of my age. Catch of a Lifetime has just enough heat to keep it spicy, loving and awww moments and a whole lot of funny too! A great read ... hands down! Can't wait for the next book!

Another home run in the Cricket Creek Series

Catch Of A Lifetime by LuAnn McLane takes us back to the lovely town of Cricket Creek Kentucky.

Jessica Robinson has returned to the small town of Cricket Creek after years of being a top notch chef in Chicago. Her beloved Aunt Myra needs her help in turning the local dinner into a go to place in the community. Aunt Myra was there for a young Jessica when she was pregnant and alone. But her baby girl Madison is all grown and getting married so Jessica thinks its time to get her own love life on track.

Ty McKenna comes to Cricket Creek to help manage and the local minor league team the Cricket Creek Cougars. Ty had success as a former major leaguer and wants to help these young men have their shot at the big show. He has made Cricket Creek his new home and finds the locals have become friends. Ty is drawn to the talented chef at the revamped dinner called Wine and Diner. His reputation of a player has followed him to town but can he show Jessica that he is ready to be her one woman man.

Jessica is wildly attracted to Ty but his past reputation and her lack of experience has her gun shy. With the town working to put them together she finds that Ty isn’t the player she thought he was, he has grown into a man she can trust. But when life seems to be repeating itself can Jessica but all her faith in Ty?

Catch Of A Lifetime is a real delightful and sexy read. The characters of Ty and Jessica are perfect examples of that there is always a second chance on love. It was refreshing to see “older” characters getting their chance to be in the spotlight. Ty and Jessica’s relationship was wickedly funny and sensual. Both had issues from their past causing them to second guess their choices but love finds away to win. Looking forward to more books in this wonderful series.

    Great Book To Read

I loved the continuation of this book from the first book about Noah and Olivia. This book is truly a romance book and I loved it. More characters are added in this book and the author does such a great job with her character descriptions! Several sub plots going on that only add to the strengh of the story. I hope the author plans on many more books in the series. Ms. Maclane is a great romance writer! You won't be disappointed to read this book!
