Overview

Meet Nick Addams: Private Eye. He has returned to his high school for the reunion of the Class of ’29, accompanied by his Gal Friday, Dixie Turner, to renew old acquaintances and perhaps, just perhaps, light a fire in the heart of his boyhood crush, the vapid but beautiful Brandi Alexander. That’s not what happens. Instead, Nick is again the biggest loser in school, rejected even by the girl he dated in his teen years, wallflower-turned-bombshell Eliza Jones, who wants to make a play for the star quarterback. To make matters worse, Brandi has shown up with notorious gangster, Dutch Sanchez, who Nick has encountered numerous times but has never managed to place behind bars. The reunion ends up being merely Nick’s chance for Catching Up With Cold Friends… one of whom is plain mean and one who is plain dead.

Meet the Author

Marc Holland is a long time resident of Ann Arbor, married over twenty years to his frequent co-author, Kathy. The father of two grown children, Marc is fond of dabbling in amateur theatre when he’s not busy counting his blessings. This is the fourth published play co-written with his high school classmate, Mike Davis.

In addition to his past collaborations with Holland, Davis is a consultant with Rice University, helping design and write educational science video games and instructional videos. He also works with RadioWorks, writing and occasionally performing radio commercials for a national sandwich franchise. He lives in Houston, Texas with Willa, a cat that’s out of her mind and Elissa, a wife who’s out of his league.
