I really enjoyed Catching You. John and Kitty are both super characters that kept me begging for more. I’m not typically a huge fan of novellas…I just feel that things are rushed and not nearly as much fun. I am always left with that feeling that something is missing…
However, Jessie Evans has a way of writing novellas that makes me forget that the book is short. Things are far from rushed and so well developed and detailed that there is nothing left for me to question…that is unless there is supposed to be a cliffie at the end.
Jessie’s writing style is so addictive that I am already drooling for the next book before I finish the one I’m reading. I keep finding myself trying to figure out who gets a story next. Which characters that met do I get to hear from! It’s exciting and I love it! I am definitely an official Jessie Evan’s junkie!
Catching You is short and sweet with a romance to die for! I spent pretty much this entire book with a huge grin on my face and a smile in my heart. I highly recommend not only this book but the entire series!

John O'Grady is a real character, with his charming, quirky, womanizing self. He's making his way through all of the single ladies in Summerville, GA, intent on enjoying as many of them as he can. And it has worked, until, that is, he meets Kitty Nance. Kitty is different from the other women John's met. She is an oddly refreshing combination of classic pin-up girl and car aficionado, and she's not willing to be just another notch on John's belt.
CATCHING YOU is the 4th book in the ALWAYS A BRIDESMAID series by Jessie Evans. I have to say that, while I love every book and all the characters in this series, this little story may just be one of my absolute favorites. The chemistry between John and Kitty is both sweet and sexy, and I found myself sporting a wide grin as I enjoyed their sassy back-and-forth. If ever a couple deserved to find their other half in each other, it is Kitty and John. My only complaint? This sweet story was just too short; I would have loved to spend much more time with this couple, so, Jessie Evans, if you're listening... <3
