A complete guide of the Catholic Faith

I was very pleased with 'Catechism of the Catholic Church'.I especially like this revised second edition.I would definately recomend this catechism to anyone who wishes to learn what the Catholic Church believes.I was brought up in the Catholic faith and even now in my adulthood, this book has helped me to grow in my on going walk with Jesus Christ.I feel very blessed.May all those who have a desire to enrich their personal growth in their own spiritual walk find this Cathechism a blessing too. This book will enrich the lives of all those who read it.Thank you for this opportunity to express my opinion on this wonderful publication. I would also like to add that this book is a wonderful companion to the Sacred Texts, The Holy Bible.

    I Also Recommend:

A Great Resource on the Catholic Faith

Though somewhat dense, the Catechism is a great resource on the doctrines and teachings of the Roman Catholic Faith. It is useful for clergy when preparing homilies on doctrinal matters, for theology students when researching papers, and the ordinary John and Jane Doe Catholic who simply want to "look something up" about a particular Catholic teaching.

A Great Edition of a Great Catechism

I am tired of people making assumptions about the Roman Catholic Church, especially when there is such a good book that lays it all down so well and so easily. And it even has a glossary and list of citations and cross-references! I have no idea how anyone can still make slanderous comments about us Catholics when our beliefs are published so well and so publicly. There should be no debate on what I, as a Catholic, do or do not believe anymore!!!

    Excellent reference book

The Catechism of the Catholic Church is the go-to book for any questions a person might have about the Catholic faith/beliefs. It is more of a reference book and not something to read like a novel, but it is excellent and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants the true facts about Catholicism and not someone's opinion.

If this Book woud've been written 50 years ago it would have been extraordinary.
Today it lacks the biblical background needed to a better understand of God, Christ and the Church.
Nevertheless, it is what we have.

    Excellent, not just for Catholics

This book should be owned by all who wish to follow the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, but further, by those who want a wise guide to life. I am somewhat of a cafeteria Catholic, myself, and I find that this book contains excellent perspectives on most moral issues around today. And you might be surprised to hear what the church actually teaches.
