It's an okay bible overall but it rejected for use in mass by the Vatican because of it's gender word editing in some unacceptable places. Other Catholic bibles are the Douai-Rheims Bible (literal word-for-word translation), the New American Bible Revised Edition (it has a bit of editing gender words for feminists), and the Jerusalem Bible Reader's Edition (no gender editing. Doaui-Rheims has no gender editing too).
