Meet the Author

My bucket list required the publishing of a book. Simple as that. So I spent a brief time writing a blurb trying to combat the condemnation by religious theists of those who don't share their particular beliefs. And then spent several months researching, modifying, and learning about the Bible and what Christians believe. That just reinforced my beliefs and 'Cats Have Wonderful Dreams' is the resulting book. Now I can get on with the next bucket list items!

Found this and thought, "what the heck, it's free". I loved it. The author was very knowledgeable and gave references and reasons for his opinions. The text was very easy to relate to and I had to agree with many points regarding religion in the U.S. considering that I have first hand experience, as that is where I live.

I read atheist literature in the ongoing attempt to find better

I read atheist literature in the ongoing attempt to find better ways of putting my views into words than what I can come up with myself. In this book, I found many concise, thoughtful and entertaining passages that succeed rather well at doing that.

I'm giving it 5 stars for the provocative entertainment value, but 3 stars for the poor editing. I'll admit I'm more of a stickler than most, but there were many punctuation and spelling errors that required me to go back and try to decode in order to get the meaning of the sentence, and that detracted from the overall experience. Even though it's free, it would have benefited from a good going-over by a proper editor.

Nonetheless, a thoroughly enjoyable and inspiring read!

    Great book

This book was easy to read and the author presented great reasons for being an atheist. He shows that a life without god is not a life without morals and happiess. He presents scientific facts and challenges/critiques the bible. I hope some devoted christians will read this book with an open mind and try to understand why atheists like myself do not believe in god.

    Excellant

This book is an honest work, dealing with a subject most people find uncomfortable. I too have had many of these same thoughts. Christians are the most horrorible people in history........so much death and pain. I believe thet Jesus the man, not Jesus the supposed son of god, would condem his "followers" for their actions in his name. I really don't deal with these bible thumpers because they are too ignorant to be taken as anything but fools, and when in a battle of wits, they tend to be unarmed. We all beleve what we believe anyway, but it's nice to think that the day shall come when the bible is viewed for what it is; a poorly written book full of asinine fairy tales.
