Overview

In new suspense author Molly Whalen's sexy debut, Caught in the Rain, she writes of an unforgettable free-spirited girl and how nothing in life happens by chance. A Decker family holiday takes an unexpected turn when eleven-year-old Corey is stranded alone during a terrible storm. With lasting effects, a cycle of abandonment repeats itself over and over again in Corey's relationships and, ultimately, her marriage. What hard-fought happiness this fiery young woman thinks she commands falls short when a childhood friend reveals that Corey's knight in shining armor is not the man she thought he was. As she retraces her not-so-perfect husband's business trips, she realizes his clandestine cover-up for what it is. At a crossroad, Corey must either be resigned to living a lie-or risk losing everything.

I really enjoyed this book, it was an easy read that kept my interest and left me wanting more. Her characters are so likable and seem so real on a personal level. I especially found this to be true with the main character Corey, who I enjoyed the most. This book is great from the beginning to the end and I highly recommend it!

This book is a sheer example of emotional attachment. I literally could not put the book down and was extremely involved with Corrie the main character. I am currently reading it for a second time. Without reservation, I heartily recommend this book.
