A Warlocks MacGregor Novel
Contemporary Scottish Paranormal Romance

A little magickal mischief never hurt anyone…

Erik MacGregor is from a clan of ancient Scottish warlocks. He isn’t looking for love. After centuries, it’s not even a consideration…until he moves in next door to Lydia Barratt. It’s clear that the shy beauty wants nothing to do with him, but he’s drawn to her and determined to win her over.

The last thing Lydia Barratt needs is a demanding Scottish man meddling in her private life. Just because he’s gorgeous and totally rocks a kilt doesn’t mean she’s going to fall for his seductive manner.

But Erik won’t give up and just as Lydia lets her guard down, his sister decides to get involved. Her little love potion prank goes terribly wrong, making Lydia the target of his sudden embarrassingly obsessive behavior. They’ll have to find a way to pull Erik out of the spell fast when it becomes clear that Lydia has more than a lovesick warlock to worry about.

Warning: Contains yummy, hot, mischievous MacGregors who may or may not be wielding love potion magick in an effort to prank their older brother, and who are almost certainly up to no good on their quest to find true love.

A great series can't wait for the next. Large families that live together and run naked through the forest

Michelle M. Pillow Cauldrons and Confessions (Warlocks MacGregor Book 4 ) I really like this Warlocks MacGregor series by Michelle Pillow, they combine a unique reading experience filled with magic, mischief, mayhem, romance and a whole lot of fun. This is book 4, it is finally time to read Malina's. Malinda is the precious daughter in this long lived warlock/witch magical family. Hundreds of years ago during the witch trials in Scotland she was whisked off to be raised in England to escape persecution and possible death. Raised alone and apart from her Scottish family Malinda was often chided about being an "English Rose." Back with her family for many many years now, the baby girl of the family now a very powerful wee bed of her class ,she has never been able to shake that feeling of being a bit different. Malina has uniques powers, the one most appreciated by her family is the ability to recreate anything from a picture. Such as items of clothing or even a pet dog. Meliana's got a past history of not making the best choices when it comes to male companionship. Problem is many of those memories seem foggy plus she has to deal with a host of over protective brothers and cousins not giving her too much freedom in this department. Melina has recently had feelings that something quite negative was hanging around their family estate. Her sixth sense wasn't far from the truth. Dar is a luck demon who was burned (psychologically and literally) by Melina, back in the 1960's Las Vegas. Though it's been many years the sexy demon has been storing up energy and power to get back at Melina and the MacGregors. Problem is he is conflicted because he still harbors feelings for the woman. Both had kept the secret of who they really were from each other and on top of that Melina was so broken up by events that happened in Vegas with Dar she asked to have the painful memories wiped away. Dar sees an opportunity to set havoc, chaos and destruction down upon the MacGregor home. The stunned family have no idea why there mischievous ghosts, gnomes and other magical beings have taken over their home. I liked Dar a lot. Hr and Malina's relationship held a lot of surprises for readers and the discovery of the truth and journey they will need to embark on to resolve the past is a wonderful storyline. Loved this MacGregor story, the whole zany clan and this fun crazy romantic magical world Ms. Pillow has treated us to. Hope we won't have to wait too long for more books in this series to come.

Any sister with older brothers can relate to Malina. Add magic and hundreds of years of practice to the torment and brotherly advice and you might know how she feels. With that much time alive who wouldn't have made a few mistakes? Found a few bad relationships. When the brothers did the judging no one was good enough. Of course, choosing a demon might make the most understanding nix the guy. She has never been able to forget Dar. Heeee'ssssss back. Yep, and not happy. Vengeance in the form of supernatural reprisal on her family is just the beginning. She'll pay. Too bad he can't get her out of his mind and out his heart. He still wants her. Which is stronger, the need for revenge or for her?  We get to watch her family and their antics. The town's reaction to the magic soaring around their estate, town, and all the Scots that live there. Will a Luck Demon ever be able to blend in a family of Warlocks? I voluntarily reviewed this advanced reader copy and I have not been compensated in any way.

As a Scot I've always hated books with Scottish characters in them as they always sound like a bad stereotype but these are some of the few exceptions! Malina is fed up being babied. She may be the only girl and her magic can be a bit...iffy, but she is centuries old dammit! She will admit to having a rotten taste in men..for illustration see her last boyfriend who turned out to be a demon, who she helped kill. Pity the whole "killing" didn't stick and now he is out for revenge! He unleashes some of the worst (but absolutely hilarious) luck on the clan. They are invaded and turfed out of their own home! Dar makes his presence known and the truth behind Malina's foggy memories of him, her own self esteem when it comes to magic and why she feels inexplicably drawn to someone her family should be vanquishing - not canoodling with! This clan is a hoot! I can neither confirm nor deny that some of these characters might be based on loony relatives of mine LOL! We don't do cavorting in the moonlight though - too damn cold here! Gimme more!!!

We are back in Green Vallis, Wisconsin with the wild and crazy MacGregor clan. Boy are they fun! I love the interaction of the characters! This one is about Malina the only girl in the family who in 1960 Los Vegas hooked up with a luck Demon Dar. Thier connection was hot and intense but then her brother showed up and .......things went south. Present time in Wisconsin Dar is back and things just went haywire for the MacGregors and nothing is going right! Lol yea I am not spoiling the story. YOU WILL HAVE TO READ IT LOL OMG this was fun, crazy, and it had betrayal and drama along with mystery wow it was amazing. If your into Magic this one is your new favorite book. Voluntarily reviewed a copy and I honestly loved it.
