Cave of Discovery [NOOK Book]

Overview

Jason squeezed the old silver coin and wondered if there really could be a hidden treasure. If only he could find enough money so his family wouldn’t have to move. Time was running out. Then he found an old treasure map and a riddle that pointed to Haunted Cave. But there was more in the cave than just bats. Strange visitors from the past roamed the dark passageways.

Meet the Author

After reading fantasy for many years, we took up the pen and began writing. Our stories are children’s fantasy tales about travel and discovery. These are not the trips advertised in a colorful adventure brochure. These journeys begin by stepping through a secret door into a gnome world, or using a magnifying glass to slip into a picture. Sometimes worlds merge together in mist, or time overlaps in the darkness of a cave.

In the sunlight, our modest home is not nearly as enchanting as the gnome house of our imagination. The maple and dogwoods in our yard do not have secret doors, at least none that we have discovered. Gnomes sitting in the grass amid the dandelions appear to be simple statuary. But when things are bathed in silky moonlight, when clouds gather and add texture to the sky, or at dusk and dawn when stars are like freckles on the heavens, it is then the shadows and light give delightful hints of things that inspire the imagination.

As any writer will tell you, a story is meant to be shared. We hope you enjoy our books.

This book is the most amazing book ever! Its about two young boy

This book is the most amazing book ever! Its about two young boys that are cousins. One cousin goes to visit the other while his parents are house hunting. He stays with his cousin in a town called Treasure Town. They meet ghosts, and they find treasure only to have it taken as they could not carry it all. The man who took the treasure, gets into an accident and forgets everyhung that happens that night. The treasure is not recovered by the boys or the police, but by the local natives in which the treasure turns up. I strongly recommend this book to anyine who has a sense in adverture or someone who is looking for a quick read, but doesnt want a book that will go by so fast, that they dont remember much about it. It is well written and was worth the read. I absolutely love this book.
