Editorial Reviews
All Music Guide - Steven McDonald
A very nice collection of ambient and space music cuts, with a mixture of the traditional Kevin Braheny & Tim Clark, Tangerine Dream, Patrick O'Hearn and the less often sampled Dik Darnell, Mars Lasar, Harold Budd & Brian Eno. The mood tends to rise and fall too often for the album to be easily classed with the ambient crowd, but it does fit very nicely into the space music niche. A good way to sample some of these artists, but be warned: Steve McDonald's "Journey of the Warrior Soul" is somewhat atypical of the album, Sons of Somerled, from which it's drawn.
