I wanted a new copy of this book because I wanted to answer those wonderful questions and complete the exercises again to evaluate where I am on the path. Truly, the questions posed and the ideas shared made a huge difference in who I thought I was and the direction I was headed. I was a Success Coach for 20 years and used the information presented with my clients over the years.

This book is the companion to The Celestine Prophecy, the guide takes the reader into themselves. What is your belief system? Are your beliefs & values as simple or as complex as you think? Do not believers in God- what you call this higher power- separate from the masses, or government. It is though provoking, many parts are closer to reality than anyone would have thought in 1995 when it was written.

Even if you haven't read a word of the Celestine Prophesy books, you might find this guide interesting. It is a 'life skills' kind of thing; that is to say that it is helpful in working out how you actually feel about your life. Each Insight is laid out with a guide on both Group and Individual Study. If you do not want to work with a group, or cannot find anyone interested in working with you, you can do it alone. I wouldn't recommend it to just everyone, however. For some folks, it just wouldn't work. Some just 'are not ready'. Some folks are more than ready for this guide - especially those who have already been studying books and material on how to understand our mortality. It's a five-star for me.

Although the format of this book is unusual (in that it is often difficult to distinguish the 'adventure fiction' from the spiritual lessons), it was extraordinarily powerful reading for me. I had previously received the pocket guide to the nine insights written by Redfield--without readingthis book first, they were much too abstract for me. I now have a much better understanding of the spiritual insights Redfield seeks to impart. While the 'adventure novel' format may be a put-off for some, if you are open to new life lessons and are seeking spiritual enlightenment, you will not regret reading this short book.
