What a waste of a read. Leaves a lot of information out, like naming the Cuban Missile Crisis. Gives a VERY watered down version of history and even goes so far as to reiterate false information based on feelings rather than facts. This book also has a habit of using information, which tells one thing, to "prove" another. For example, it states that 1 of 4 women were dissatisfied in the 50's with their role as housewife and uses that as a basis to say that TV shows aren't in line with the realities of the time. Take heed when reading this book, the history is most definitely his story more than history.
