Censorship, Liberty, and Truth

2.0 1
by Michael Brulotte

A sentiment exists among our leaders today that citizens are children and need to be protected. The belief has spread with viral depth. It has persisted with religious tenacity, and the state is at fault. The state is at fault with its paternalistic zeal, with its judicious abandon, and thus we find ourselves beneath its dark umbrella.

There are a couple valid points here at best, however the writing felt little jaded and angry. It looked as if it was a possible conservative view on government and then I read it. Censorship Liberty and Truth is a quick read so if you want to check it out you won't have much time invested. Liberal arts majors at Duke or U of C will most likely love it and ask for more.
