Meet the Author

I LOVE Starbucks’ White Mocha Latte and Mountain Dew, (but not together). I have a lead foot so I set cruise control when I drive, even in 25 MPH zones. I almost never win when I play Angry Birds, but have my 8 year old close, so he can clear the hard levels for me. I grew up on a farm and am opposed to eating fresh chicken (not opposed to meat - just opposed to any meat that was alive a few hours before lunch). I am a huge fan of the show, Big Bang Theory, on CBS. I have a stray cat that I feed every night and morning but she’s never let me get closer than within 3 feet of her – I keep thinking eventually I’ll wear her down and she’ll let me pet her. I share my life with two fantastic sons, three rotten dogs and a husband that I adore.

LOVE THIS BOOK!!! I totally recommend it this series. It's an easy read but without being simple. You cannot guess where the story line is going next. You fall in love with the Characters and you go through their journey with them. There is nothing more to say except EXCELLENT!!

This series was excellent; it was the first paranormal I've read about centaurs.  I got the first book free and then had to buy the remaining 3 and read them all within about a weeks time; one right after the other. They were hard to put down!  This series had a perfect blend of  action, adventure, mystery, family & friendship dynamics, and of course ... romance.  I think the entire series is a 'good read'.  The author mentions at the end of the fourth book that the series is not over ... I can't wait to see what she does with it next! Bravo!

Love the easy reading, want to learn more about their lives. Anxious to hear how Daniel gets his happiness in the end. Very happy Beau got chosen to get married, don't want any of them to die. Took too long to read book 2 after book one, so a bit lost at some of the references to former characters. Love the abilities of the distinct families. So good Cami connected to her mother before she moved onto the pasture, and the best, that LOVE is the strongest of all magic.

Really enjoyed this second book in the series even though this is not my usual genre to read. My only complaint is the abrupt ending in both books so far. I hate to get tied up in a five book series. Three to a series is really enough in my opinion. Anymore and it is just too time consuming and makes me tired of the story and characters. I need to take a break from this mystical world in these two books and move on to something else. Might revisit the series at a later date and see what happens on book three. Would have given five stars if not for the abrupt ending.

On the run in search of something that up until now has only been heard of in the Greek myths told to them as children, Cami and Drake must make their way to Ireland in search of Hercules' arrow. An arrow and her Great Uncle. Hoping both will give her the protection from her grandmother she so desperately needs. What they discover on this journey is beyond anything Cami thought possible. Greek mythology is coming to life before her very eyes and it may be the only thing able to keep them both alive in the end. Amazing. This story was simply amazing. If I had to compare this book to another one out there, it would most likely be THE LIGHTNING THIEF. I have yet to read the book but I did see the movie. And this book is like a New Adult version of that. Everything about it came to life when the history of the Centaurs was told. The story captured my attention from the very first book and has yet to release me. Quite sure I don't want it to either. These books are fascinating and I am completely happy to pitch a tent and relax within its words. If I thought I couldn't love Drake any more than I already did, well, this one proved me wrong on so many levels. Straight was able to write a character that affected me so strongly. My feelings were amped up for him. Especially in the scenes where he was so deeply hurting for Cami and wondering if she would reject him. Ok. That is all I am saying about that. Don't want to step on toes and give stuff away. But if any of you had doubts about his love for Cami...I am here to squash those thoughts. He loves her. That is final. I am now moving on to book 3, CENTAUR RIVALRY. I have to know what is going to happen as they make their way on this incredible journey. Hell. Is. About. To. Break. Loose. Mark my words.

You need to read the first book before reading this second book. There is too much that you would miss if you skipped it. This book was every bit as good as the first one, if not better. It kept me on my toes. There was always something happening to fully keep my attention. It's not often a book surprises me, but something pretty big takes place that I didn't see coming at all. At least not like THAT. Centaur Legacy by Nancy Straight was provided to me by AToMRTours for review. The opinions are my own.
