Overview

When their father is taken by an unknown assailant, teen siblings Cage and Mia are left with nothing but their dad's old junk. Yet one of the old artifacts, a metal orb, holds a great power. It thrusts Cage and Mia back in time to medieval China, and they are captured by the fourteen-year-old Ming emperor. Fighting to prove his innocence, find his father, save the Emperor, and evade conspirators, Cage learns the frightening truth about his family — that he is part of a royal lineage that has been battling evil for nearly a thousand years.
