Overview

The one and only chameleon is world renowned for its ability to change its skin color rapidly (throughout movement of pigment cells) and for the outrageous length of its tongue (more than one and a half times its body length!). Relatives of agamids and iguanas, chameleons are insect-eating, tree climbing reptiles that have highly specialized needs. Written by a team of experienced herp experts, Chameleons intends to instruct keepers on how to best care for their chameleons and covers the four most commonly kept species: Jackson’s chameleon with its prized triceratops horns on its head, panther chameleon with its spectacular coloration, veiled chameleon with its unusual casque on its head, and the rather large Parson’s chameleon. The book subsequently is divided into four parts, each including an introduction and natural history, captive care, and reproduction of the species. Part I, Jackson’s Chameleon was written by Sean McKeown; Part II, Panther Chameleon by Gary Ferguson, James B. Murphy, Achille Raselimanana, and Jean-Baptiste Ramanamanjato; Part III, Veiled Chameleon and Part IV, Parson’s Chameleon by Kenneth Kalisch. References and index included.

I never knew you all too well, but... You're a good person put into a bad situation and I'm the exact opposite, but I'm still on your side. Whatever that means, I guess. And remember, kittens can make your sad go away when all else fails.

Always remember this: If you tell yourself that you are going to die you have a larger chance, but if you tell yourself I wont then you would be fighting it. Whereever you go you will make a friend because you are a kind person unlike some.

I may not know you very well, but l do know that every human life is important.

For some reason, l refuse to believe that you could just... die. You sound so full of life, so spirited. Me, not so much, but that's a different story.

Know that you should never give up, okay? I'm telling you goodbye because l'm leaving.

Other than what l have already told you, l'm afraid l'm out of written words to share, so...

    Goodbye.

    Pantherstrike's (Sean's) Story

Bear with me because this will take a while. And sorry for any typos.
Lets start with rl: ever since my first year in school, until now (goin into 9th grade) i was bullied, threatened and teased. I dont know why, but i was. I attempted suicide many times but failed. I considere dropping out of school towards 2nd grade but i loved learning. In the middle of 2nd grade though, i transfered schools. I wa still bullied, except by my new best friends that i met in 3rd grade. Jaylen and Ashfire. They stood up fo me and taked me out of suicide. Thy were here for me all the time.
Another reason why i always wanted to die was because my parents were alcoholics and were really abusive. EVery night they would come home drunk. And drunk or not, they would abuse me. In the summer, id run off for the whole day while they lost money in poker or spent their time at the bar. When i met Jay and Ash, id spend every minute with them. I didnt have ay siblings either. But they were like my sisters. My rl name is Sean btw.
In April of this year, i got to go on my first trip ever for Spring break. Jaylens mom and dad let her bring me and ashfire to nyc! We were so excited. we stayed in jaylens uncles apartment while he was in italy. I was happy for once!
when i was in 6th grade, an 9th grader would always try to hurt me. Everyone thought it was funny. But he ended up moving at the end of the year and i was relieved. I wont give out his real name so his fake name for now will be... Joe.
anyway, i was in 8th grade during this trip and joe would be in 11th. On the fourth day we were in the city, we were crossing a road at the right time and then joe sped through the light and ran me over with his car. I knew he move to nyc but i forgot all about him. He was sentenced to jail for 55 years. When he ra me over, i broke my right arm, right leg, collarbone, sprainged my left wrist d broke my nose. And i was in a coma for 4 days. After the coma, i was put throuh a CAT Scan and other stuff. I went back home to find out my dad went to prin andmy mom was in mental hospital, both for some stupid drunk thing they did. They didnt give a sh<_>it about wha happened to me. Jaylens parents took me in. (She was an only child too) after aout 5 days from settling in, the hoital called and said i have a rare bone cancer. Idk wht its calle though. (Jaylen ad ashfire got me a yellow lab puppy that i named reese. Hes so big now! He helps me all the time! He is like a service puppy!)I know knew why i have been aching for several months. I was arranged with chemo therapies and other stuff, but i kept getting worse. In the beginning of june, i got a girlfriend named Carly. She was my world. I brought her to our 8th grade dance on the last week of school. But she broke up with me 2 weeks ago fom today.
anyway, i was put in the hospital lastweek with about 3 weeks left to live when originally when i first reaized i had cancer, they gave me 4 years. And here i am, with a week left of life... dying in the hospital. I miss being able to play basketball lime i use to 24/7. And hanging out with jay and ash.
Im pretty much out of characters so i will let you know here my goodbyes are going to be.
this was my story. (Again...sorry about typos.)
